I am excited to begin my 2nd year at Creekside Middle School as an Assistant Principal. Last year was a great learning experience as I got to know the students and community in which I am honored to serve.

I began my teaching career in 1993 as a teacher and coach and worked in schools of sizes from small 1A to large 6A. I enjoyed my first 21 years supporting students in JH and HS math as well as being a Girls' Athletic Coordinator and Math Department Head.  I transitioned to administration in 2015 and for the past 12 years have held the positions of  assistant principal, associate principal, district behavior coordinator, and JH principal, before beginning my current role here at Creekside.

My journey has always been centered around the belief that with the proper support and relationships students can achieve great things.  It gives me great joy to support others to reach their goals and I get to do this every day by setting high standards and holding those around me accountable to reaching these levels.

I look forward to partnering with students, staff, and families to make Creekside Middle School an inclusive learning environment as we develop the leaders and good citizens of tomorrow.

Go Hawks!
